The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr Caleb Mutfwang has commended the exemplary leadership style of the Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Abubakar Ahmed Audi especially as it concerns the welfare and wellbeing of the personnel.Â
Governor Mutfwang represented by the Commissioner of Works, Honourable Bulus Leshak gave the Commendation while at the ground breaking ceremony of the 500 housing units in Jos, Plateau State.
Mutfwang said the Corps through the leadership of the Commandant General have galvanized support for the state in other to bring about peace and security in the state.
Speaking during his remarks, the Commandant General of the NSCDC, Abubakar Ahmed Audi, PhD, mni, OFR who was represented by the Assistant Commandant General (ACG) Housing Unit of the NSCDC, ACG Suleiman Marafa said the welfare of personnel is very important to the Corps as that translates into optimal productivity and professionalism.
He said the Corps is putting modalities on ground to reduce the trouble personnel go through in terms of accommodation and other welfare concerns.
He therefore charged personnel to take advantage of the housing scheme in order to own their houses before their retirement age.
