EFCC Director Visits Bello Alkali Argungu, Sokoto NSCDC Commandant

Sokoto State acting Director of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, Mr. Nwonneka Nwokike has paid a courtesy visit to the Sokoto helmsman of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant Bello Alkali Argungu.

In his address the EFCC Director explained that the visit was much necessary in view of the high-level collaboration and synergy between the two paramilitary agencies, and most importantly to also compare note on how to further strengthen the already existing strong cooperation between the two agencies.

”It is important for any ideal nation to build a corruption free society that also guarantees ideal security for the people and their public assets this explains why the two security agencies must continually forge with strong determination in our respective mandate for the betterment of the country at large.” Nwonneka Nwokike said.

In his response, Commandant Bello Alakali Argungu expressed his appreciation for the visit and assured the EFCC Director of the preparedness of the NSCDC cooperation, especially as it concerns the transfer of all the cases relevant to its mandate from the NSCDC
