Commandant of the Sokoto State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Bello Alkali ARGUNGU has paid a courtesy visit to A. Ajimi, the Coordinator of the Coordinator Nigeria Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) Sokoto.
In his address, Commandant Bello Alakali Argungu highlighted the importance of the visit in affirmation of his office commitment to maintain the synergy and working relationship existing between the two organisations in Midstream and Downstream petroleum sector in the state
The Commandant Argungu informed the Coordinator of the preparedness of the Corps to cooperate all the time with NMDPRA in the area of security and other issues as the case may be.
The NMDPRA State Coordinator, A. Ajimi, expressed his happiness on the existing synergy between the two organisations in discharging their mandate on national midstream and down stream.
He however highlighted petroleum products Tracking and disbursement across filling stations in the state to curve the persisting looming product scarcity in the state as one of the grey areas that they are working to improve their service delivery in the state.
