The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ondo State Command early this morning received the 3rd edition of the compendium of achievements of the NSCDC Commandant General, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi, at the State NSCDC Command headquarters, Akure, Ondo State capital.
The 3rd edition of the compendium was presented to Ondo NSCDC Commandant, Oluyemi Ibiloye by its author, Isiaka Mustapha, Chief Executive Officer of the People’s Security Monitor.
The author, a seasoned journalist affirmed and extolled the virtues of the Commandant General Audi as a patriotic frontline security personality who stood firmly to protect lives and properties, especially as it concerns the protection of critical national assets and infrastructures,
” The CG in the media is known as the architect of modern-day Civil Defence.” He noted
Commandant Ibiloye alluded to the giant strides of the Commandant General, pointing to the revolutionisation of the Corps by changing the old perception and creating a new one that has made NSCDC a darling bride for all.
” If you work and nobody is taking note or documenting your activities, one might be lost in history. So, we commend your effort in documenting the CG’s activities.
“The CG is a detribalized person, a listening boss who appreciates advice of subordinates. He does not work alone. He carries people along. He is a leader who should be emulated.” Ibiloye said.
The Commandant appreciated the author for the intellectual work and assured of the Command dedication in ensuring that the vision of the CG for the Corps is domesticated and propagated more in the State.
