The Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Osun State Command, Dr Michael Adaralewa has declared zero tolerance for illegal activities in the state.
Commandant Adaralewa revealed this yesterday, Tuesday during a strategic meeting with Heads of departments and Units, Area Commanders, Divisional Officers and tactical commanders, in Osogbo the Osun state capital
Commandant Adaralewa said such action undermines the integrity and credibility of the corps, he called on officers who are into any form of illegal activities to desist or face the consequences of their actions.
‘’I will not condone unruly behaviour, I have also received complaints of several employment scams and financial embarrassment, such actions betray the trust of the citizens we serve, you are to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity and your loyalty to the corps should be 100%. Osun NSCDC boss said.
The meeting also availed the senior 0fficers, opportunity to assess the security situation in the state, review their operational strategies and take decisive measures to stem the tide of criminal activities in Osun state
The State Commandant also charged them to build on their individual capacities and be determined to be selfless, for the corps to achieve its mandates.
He also emphasized on training and re-training of personnel saying, it is the only way to maintain highest standard of excellence and service to the nation, he therefore charged the training department of the state command to double their efforts as it is saddled with the responsibility of training and re-training of officers.
