The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Oyo State Command, Augustine Padonu, commended personnel deployed to accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination across the state on Friday, praising their impressive display of commitment and precision.

The commandant gave the commendation while inspecting the deployed NSCDC personnel, stating that the strategic effort is a testament to collaboration between NSCDC and the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

The civil defense officers reportedly arrived at the centers as early as 6 a.m. to check in the candidates and ensure each of them underwent biometric capturing, ensuring a smooth and secure examination process.

Commandant Padonu said: “A total of 150 NSCDC personnel have been deployed to the 43 accredited CBT centers across the state to provide security, prevent intrusion of unwanted persons, and uphold the integrity of the examination. Our personnel are well-trained, and I can assure the examination body, JAMB, and the candidates that the conduct of the examination will be hitch-free.”
