The Katsina State of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has paraded two men suspected to be vandals
Based on enhanced NSCDC and community engagement, the Command successfully apprehended two suspects: Aminu Sani, ‘M’ aged 19years, from Farin Yaro Quarters Katsina and Ahmed Abdullahi, ‘M’ aged 23 years, from Unguwar Alkali Quarters Katsina.Aminu Sani who are suspected to be members of a notorious syndicate that specialises in vandalizing public infrastructure and theft.
During the investigation, the suspects confessed to committing the crimes and revealed that on Saturday, 6th April, 2024, Aminu Sani conspired with one Tasiu (alis Dantasi) now at large and vandalized electric wire and fittings at Federal Housing Estate Gidan Kwakwa Area Katsina.
The following exhibits were recovered from the suspect:
I) One plier
II)One water tap
III) Two roles of service wire
IV) Circuit breaker
The suspects will be charged to competant court for prosecution after the completion of the investigation.
The State NSCDC Commandant, Jamilu A. Indabawa, called on the good people of Katsina State to be law abiding and obey rules and regulations. He further assured the residents of the state of the Command’s consistent protection.
