The Command made deployment of one thousand personnel to provide security before, during and after the Easter celebrations in the State.
Muhammad Danjuma, the State Commandant, issued an order for the deployment of personnel from various departments and units to be sent immediately.
The deployment includes all of the state’s 27 local government districts. Strategic locations, such as houses of worship, government structures and institutions, marketplaces and retail malls, parking lots, and other vulnerable points, will receive special attention.
As a result, the command encouraged general public to coorperate with its operatives during and after the celebrations and to report any suspicious activity to the nearest security formation.
Parents and guardians are admonished to keep an eye on their children and be aware of their locations at all times, while drivers are asked to drive cautiously and in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Likewise, all security protocols should strictly be adhered to.
While congratulated Christian faithful, the command enjoined them to use the solemn occasion to pray for the peace and unity of the state and the country at large.
