Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu, State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC Gombe State Command was honoured today, at the State Command Headquarters by the African Peace and Community Development Centre /APADEV/ Lusaka, Zambia with the AFRICAN ICON AND HEROES AWARD 2024 as the most outstanding State Commandant Of NSCDC.
Presenting the award, the Country Director, Mr Frank Ocheli extols the virtues of the State Commandant Which he says stands him out as the MOST OUTSTANDING STATE COMMANDANT of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defonce Corps, this is as a result of his concerted efforts towards peace and Security development in Gombe State, Nigeria.
In the same vein, the State Command was also presented with an award under the peace and security development category of the centre as the most outstanding STATE COMMAND of NSCDC in terms of Crime Detection, Prevention and Control.
In his response upon receiving the award, CC Mohammad Bello Muazu expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the award from the Centre. He said, ” such an award, is not only a proud moment for him but also an encouragement to do more in advancement, promotion of peace and Security in the State.
