Army pledges improved relationship with LASU

THE 15 Field Engineering Regiment of the Nigerian Army in Topo, Badagry Local Government Area of Lagos State, yesterday, promised a cordial relationship with the Lagos State University School of Basic Education and Advanced Studies, LASUSBAS.

The Commanding Officer of the regiment, Lt. Col. Sagir Lawan, pledged during his courtesy visit to the institution in Badagry.

Lawan said his visit to the institution was to further strengthen the existing relationship between the army and LASUSBAS, as they were just a few metres away from one another.

He said: “I am impressed and satisfied with the school.”

Responding, the Director of LASUSBAS, Prof Yunus Dauda said: “We had a cordial relationship with the previous commandant, and we assure you of our cooperation.

“We hope that this relationship will extend to a comfortable end, as you can also enrol your child in our school.

“We recognise your magnanimity, humility, and simplicity.”
