Operatives of the Delta State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps have raided the Agip Oil Pipeline operating spot of the oil vandals following a distress call on Monday from the local vigilante about suspected vandals operating on the Agip oil pipeline at Onyekwu Community 11, Ndokwa-East Local Government Area of Delta States
Arriving at the scene, the suspected vandals reportedly took to their heels on sighting NSCDC operatives, abandoning the following items behind: mini thrust (white), Five steel pipes, two gas cylinders and Welding materials. All the items have been impounded accordingly by the NSCDC operatives.
Meanwhile, efforts are being intensified with a view to arresting the fleeing suspects for further investigation and possible prosecution.
