Dr Ahmed Audi, NSCDC CG
Zamfara State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Sani Mustapha has lauded the giant initiative State Government in the establishment of the Community Protection Guards(CPG), said they would support, collaborate with them to combat insecurity in the state.
Commandant Sani Mustafa highlights that CPGs are meant to assist in stemming the tides of insecurity in the state.
Commandant Sani Mustapha who witnessed the passing out parade of the first batch of the trained CPG code-named ASKARAWA, posited that the NSCDC is poised to give maximum support and collaboration to the laudable innovation of the state Government in combating brigandage and other forms of insecurity in the state.
He said that the Commandant General, Dr Abubakar Ahmed Audi mni OFR has given his full support to the establishment of this outfit as exemplified by his representation through the Kano State Commandant, Commandant Lawal Muhammad Falala.
He therefore opined that NSCDC is ever ready to ensure that this novel innovation of the Zamfara State Government strives.
He however called on the trained Guards to be dedicated and God-fearing in the discharge of their duties. He encouraged them to put into practice all that had been learned during the training periods.
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Zamfara State Command, were visibly on ground and participated fully in the training of the guards.
The Commandant General, Dr Abubakar Ahmed Audi was ably represented by Commandant Muhammad Lawal Falala, the State Commandant of Kano State Command to witness the passing out parade in the state.
