Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara has lauded the efforts of men and officers of the 1 brigade Nigerian army, Gusau for their professionalism and resilience in sustaining peace and tranquility, as he witnessed the end of Year 2023 West African Social Activities (WASA) in the State.
The Governor who was represented by the Emir of Kaura Namoda Alhaji Sanusi Ahmad Asha at the Nigerian army cantonment barracks, Gusau in Zamfara state said he was delighted to witness at the end of this year 2023 WASA.
“This event in particular is very important for the Nigerian Army as it provides an opportunity for social activities of officers and men of the Nigerian Army to celebrate our rich cultural heritage”. According to him, Government and people of Zamfara appreciate the efforts of the Nigerian army at ensuring security and the relative peace enjoy in Zamfara State today with other security agencies support in the state.
