The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC),
Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi has vowed not to succumb to the antics and mischief of enemies and blackmailers of the Corps who are hell bent working against the ongoing transformation process in the NSCDC.
Audi emphasised this yesterday during the working/advocacy visit of the editorial members of the CITIZEN FM led by Mr. Salami Salmon, the Chief Operating Officer of the radio station.
He said the NSCDC’s transformational directive as mandated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would not in any form be allowed to be compromised by disgruntled enemies of the Corps.
“Let me say for the umpteenth time that I can never be distracted from the transformation agenda of the NSCDC as desired by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu no matter whose ox is gored. We’re not looking back at the NSCDC, and I can assure that we’re not going to cave into the antics of detractors no matter how they try. The transformation process as directed by President Tinubu is not negotiable and we are very conscious of that.” Audi said.
CG Audi however reiterated the need for the media and NSCDC to objectively work together for the betterment of Nigeria especially as it concerns its security which is much needed for our growth as a nation.
