Commandant Ibiloye Oluyemi Joshua
History was made today, Tuesday, January 9th 2024 at the NSCDC Ondo Command State Headquarters, Akure as Commandant Ibiloye Oluyemi Joshua took over as the 20th substantive State Commandant from the outgoing Commandant, Commandant Olatundun Olayinka.
Commandant Ibiloye Oluyemi Joshua is a highly cerebral senior officer who hails from kwara State, a graduate of the prestigious University of Ilorin who also holds a master degree in Peace and conflict studies, Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
At the handing over parade, the new helmsman assured officers and men of the command of his readiness to consolidate on the achievements of his predecessor towards sustaining peaceful Ondo State and protection of lives and property.
He emphasized the importance of team work and collaboration, and seek for the cooperation of all personnel in ensuring the Corps mandates are effectively delivered.
While addressing the press after he took over, Commandant Ibiloye appreciated the Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi for the opportunity to serve and also thanked the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji Ojo for the confidence reposed in him.
He assured the good people of Ondo state of his unflinching commitment to professionalism and modern policing to effectively protect critical national assets and infrastructure, robust engagement with critical stakeholders and a topnotch collaboration with other sister agencies in the state.
