The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, kogi state command has on Wednesday decorated four hundred and sixty-nine promoted officers with their various ranks.
The chief host, Assistant Commandant General of Corps, Ahmad Ahmad Gandi charged officers to stand by the mission and vision of the Commandant General Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi whose policies are reinvigorating the Corps to higher level.
He charged the promoted officers to live to their responsibilities and be worthy representatives of the ideals of the Corps.
He noted that this was the first time the Command has witnessed large number of promoted officers.
He expressed joy that even as he would be leaving on transfer, he has behind very loyal and dedicated officers, who had ensured his successful stay as the State Commandant
He added that his promotion to the rank of Assistant Commandant General ACG has made him a forerunner to provide needed assistance and support to the command.
Speaking for the beneficiaries, the Deputy commandant of Corps, Idi Musa Garba commended the commandant General of Corps and the management team for the honour done to the them and assured that they will live above board to justified the confidence repose in them.
Those in attendance are some heads of sister Security Agencies in the state, including the commissioner of Police Bethrand Onuoha,and others service chiefs who helped in the decoration of the officers .
In the same vein, the Chief Host Assistant Commandant General Gandi commissioned the newly completed block of offices build to accommodate more units in the command.
