FCT DSS Director, Ado Muazu Bags CITIZEN FM Prestigious Peace Ambassador Award

Assistant Director General of the Department of the State Services (ADG) and Head of the FCT DSS Command, Dr Ado Muazu was yesterday conferred with the CITIZEN FM RADIO STATION prestigious award of PEACE AMBASSADOR.
According to the letter of notification and confirmation of the award as dispatched to Dr Muazu: “Sequel to the Selection Panel Meeting of the above named radio station held on the 18th of December 2023. It may please your
highly esteemed person to know that the Selection Panel of the Investiture
Panel of CITIZEN FM headed by Mr. Salami Salmon, Chief Operating
Officer (COO) of the CITIZEN FM RADIO STATION, had thoroughly among
other nominees within the security jurisdiction of Nigeria screened
your credentials and evaluated your immense contributions to the
attainment of an ideal security system for Nigeria.

On account of the above, we are pleased to inform you that in view of
all the indices applicable to the coveted honour, you have been
adjudged to be eminently qualified among several other nominees within
your area of jurisdiction for the distinguished honouur.
Thus, your nomination and confirmation for the reputable CITIZEN FM
PEACE AMBASSADOR AWARD (2023 EDITION).”
Speaking at the event attended by the management team of the FCT DSS, Mr. Salami Salmon described Dr Muazu as a rare intelligent security operative among his contemporaries who has done a lot to keep Nigeria at peace.
In his acceptance speech, Dr Muazu described the honour as a call for further hard work stressing the importance of security in Nigeria.

”Security is like oxygen for our existence, in all we do security is crucial, and if truly we need to grow as a nation, then security cannot be compromised, so therefore it’s our collective responsibility to keep Nigeria at peace all the time.” he said.
