Yletide:  Katsina NSCDC Deploys 2,200 Personnel To Take Charge Of Security, Charges Operatives On Discipline, Professionalism

The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC) Katsina State Command, Commandant, Jamilu A. Indabawa has approved the deployment of 2,200 personnel for the maintenance of peace and protection of Critical National Assets and infrastructure before, during, after the yuletide period and new year celebration.

The NSCDC State helmsman made this known while issuing the yuletide Operational Order earlier today 19th December,2023 at the Command Headquarters Katsina.

He tasked the relevant Heads of Departments and Units, Area Commanders, Divisional Officers, Components Commanders and Special Forces to brace up and ensure well coordination, proper deployment of personnel and patrolling to provide watertight Security in the State.

“I want to reiterate that personnel deployed are to act smartly, be watchful, diligent, professional and synergize with other Security agencies in ensuring smooth and hitch free yuletide and new year celebrations.” Commandant Indabawa stated.
He specifically indicated that emphasis should be placed in Churches, recreational/events centres, motor parks, markets, the festive locations and relevant facilities belonging to Federal State and Local Governments.

Adequate Under Cover Operatives were also deployed and placed in very sensitive locations to provide timely and actionable intelligence that will help to contain all the activities of miscreants in the State.

He enjoined the general public to report any suspicions movements or persons to the nearest office.

Commandant extended his heart felt felicitation to all the Christian faithful in the State and wished for happy Christmas and prosperous new year in advance.
