In accordance with the vision and mission of the Commandant General Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi to bring security close to the people and ensure the protection of lives and properties the NSCDC Kogi State Commandant A. A Gandi established an Out Post at Ganaja village Lokoja with the aim of curbing all forms of crimes and criminalities enshrined in the area.
The Commandant who acted upon investigation and realised the absence of security agencies in that particular area which is densely populated and exposed to all forms of crimes and criminalities.
Sequel to the above gesture the community Chairman, Engr. Tijjani Ademu and his members graciously paid a courtesy visit on the Commandants to extend their unalloyed gratitude as he has nip on board one of the long awaiting problems bedeviling their community.
The community leader harped that the presence of NSCDC has impose more confidence in the community as criminal minded people begin to take a French leave from the community.
Speaking further he said as Oliver twist they use this medium to solicit from the Commandant more deployment of personnel, Armed personnel and patrol vehicle.
Responding to the essence the State Commandant A.A Gandi appreciated them for the visit and assured them of more deployment. He declined the request for vehicle and charged them to put heads together with relevant stake holders for such provision.
He assured them the NSCDC support at all time and charged them to give relevant ,useful and apt informations to the Corps.
