NSCDC Boss Charges Officers On Continued Commitment and Professionalism To Their Duties

The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi has reminded officers and men of the Corps who are going to benefit from the new promotion list announced by the supervising board of the Corps to know that the new ranks will bring added responsibilities and also underscore the importance of their continued commitment, discipline, loyalty and hard work. 

It will be recalled that on Friday the Civil Defence, Immigration Correctional and Fire Service Board (CDICFSB) approved the promotion of 32,361 personnel of the four services/agencies supervised by the Federal Ministry of Interior.

The NSCDC has the highest number of promoted officers and men with 21,355 out of the total   32,361  of the promoted personnel across the four services in the Interior Ministry. 

The Commandant General of the NSCDC, who disclosed this to the newsmen after the board meeting in Abuja on Friday also commended the President and Commander in Chief of Armed Forces, Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the rare and kind gesture and continued support to the board and its chairman; the minister of interior Dr Tunji Ojo adding that the NSCDC is already on the same page with the renewed hope agenda of the President and bid to reposition the para military agencies. 

The CG also commends officers and men of the corps for their unwavering dedication and commitment but tasks them not to relent as the government is expecting more from the NSCDC in terms of effective and professional service delivery adding that ” to whom much is given, much is expected.
