NSCDC CG, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi
The national president of Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU), Alhaji Aliyu Otta – Uthman, has appealed to the commandant of Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kwara State, Mr. Umar Muhammed, to intensify efforts at tackling security challenges in the state.
Otta-Uthman made the appeal when he led a delegation on a courtesy visit to the commandant in his office in Ilorin.
He described the NSCDC as a security agency that is very close to the community and commended its efforts at maintaining peace and order in the state.
Otta-Uthman drew the attention of the commandant to the prevalence of thuggery in the community and the state at large, particularly those who station themselves at strategic areas within Ilorin.
