The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Ogun State Command Headquarters, Abeokuta, Commandant David Idowu Ojelabi received the newly redeployed State Director, Department of State Services, Ogun State Command Headquarters, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, Dr. Folashade Adekaiyaoja in his Owu Dekudu Office, on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
The State Director who thanked the State Commandant for the warm reception noted that the main purpose of the visit is for her to continue the robust relationship already existing between the Corps and the Service.
She noted further that the Department of State Services is very much aware of the grassroot nature of the Corps and will be collaborating her for intelligence sharing amongst other areas of synergy.
She ended her address by adding that the country depends on the security architectures to boost the economy and other areas of human lives in terms of protection of lives and property which largely contributes to its development.
In his response, Commandant Ojelabi welcomed the State Director and promised her all the support she may need while here in Ogun State Command.
According to the State Commandant, “The Service Commanders here in Ogun State Command are one big family and responses to one another’s call is timely”.
The State Commandant also sought her collaboration in facilitating further training of the State Command’s intelligence team which she graciously approved.
