“Sir, we have combed all over the nineteen states of Northern Nigeria and we have found no one worthier of this award than you. We are aware of how much work you have put into ensuring that Taraba State enjoys uninterrupted peace and security. Your drive to bring in Private Guard Companies to participate actively in securing the state is highly commendable. It is because of these achievements that we have come today to honour you with this award and to also encourage you to do more”, he said.

Responding after the Award Presentation, the Commandant thanked the student group for finding him worthy to receive such recognition. ” I am delighted to receive such honour which I never saw coming.
