Ahead Of Yuletide: NSCDC Warns Unscrupulous Characters To Keep Off Delta State, Assures Motorists Of Unhindered Vehicular Movement

Commandant Jimoh Suleiman Agboola, the Helmsman of the Delta State
Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence (NSCDC) has
expressed the Command’s determination to ward of crime and criminality
in Delta State with active collaboration and synergy with other sister
agencies, especially during yuletide which is fast approaching in line
with the mission of the NSCDC Commandant General, Dr Ahmed Abubakar
Audi.

Commandant Agboola during an interview in his office warned all the
unscrupulous characters in Delta State that the Corps would leave
stone unturned in its effort to get rid of criminals that may be
plotting public disturbance, civil unrest or perpetrate any form of
crime in Delta State before, during and after yuletide period.

Specifically, apart from the Corps massive security measures to check vandalisation of the Niger Bridge, Commandant Agboola has also assured motorists of the Delta NSCDC’s effective synergy with the operatives of the Federal Road Safety Commission at ensuring unhindered vehicular movement on both sides of the Niger Bridge to and fro the South/East parts of the country during the yuletide period.

The Delta NSCDC boss expressed optimism to continue to fight the
criminal activities of perpetrators of illegal oil business and oil
pipe vandalization as demanded by the NSCDC mandate with the active
synergy and collaboration with other sister agencies, while assuring
adequate protection of lives and critical assets and infrastructure in
the state ahead of the yuletide.

believer and promoter of synergy with sister agencies and has made
same an integral part of the Corps’ Standard Operating Procedure, SOP
he’s of firm believe that lots of benefits are accruable from such
collaboration and synergy, and even help ward off supremacy struggles
among security agencies.” Commandant Agboola said.
