The Delta State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence
Corps, (NSCDC) Jimoh Suleiman Agboola has commended all the officers
and men of the Delta State NSCDC deployed to beef up security at the
just concluded off-circle gubernatorial election in Balyesa State,
describing them as patriotic worthy ambassadors and dedicated
operatives of the NSCDC.
Speaking in his office Wednesday while welcoming the deployed
operatives, Commandant Agboola expressed his joy that operatives of
the Delta NSCDC have contributed in no small measure alongside other
security operatives to achieve for Bayelsa, and Nigeria at large a
successful gubernatorial poll.
‘’I’m most delighted and satisfied that all of you complied with the
directive of our Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni to
reckon with the mandate of the Corps as always by ensuring that the
election was not obstructed in any way form. You are indeed highly
commended for the realization of this objective on behalf of our
Commandant General.’ Agboola said.
‘’Recalled that you were the first batch to arrive Bayelsa for the
national assignment and the last to leave after ensuring a successful
election, this commitment and tenacity of purpose in the course of
your official duty, and in strict compliance with the directive of the
Commandant General has indeed distinguished all of you.’’ Agboola
added.
