Following the retirement of CP Oqua Etim, the Gombe State Police Command on Monday, unveiled the recently promoted Commissioner of Police, Hayatu Usman.
Usman was one of the 26 recently decorated Commissioners of Police by the Inspector General of Police Olukayode Egbetokun, in Abuja.
Our correspondent reports that prior to the promotion Usman was a Deputy Commissioner in charge of operations in the command.
Disclosing the assumption of office of Usman, the Public Relations Officer, ASP Mahid Abubakar, in a statement obtained by our correspondent, said more details would be conveyed soon.
He said, “Unveiling the 22nd Commissioner of Police Gombe State Command, CP Hayatu Usman, Psc. Details soon.”
