Helmsman of the Delta State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, Suleiman Jimoh has issued out a strict warning to over two hundred of his men dispatched to beef up security in Bayelsa Governorship election scheduled for tomorrow not to compromise standard and ethics, warning that such unholy act would be met with a very severe sanction and punishment against any indicted operative or operatives as the case may be.
Commandant Suleiman A. Jimoh while briefing officers and men yesterday, charged officers to conduct themselves properly before, during and after the gubernatorial elections.
The deployed officers who were drafted from various specialized units had moved in convoy of over ten vehicles to Bayelsa State as early as 6.30 this morning.
Specifically, Commandant Jimoh warned all the operatives to align with the Commandant General’s commitment at ensuring a peaceful electoral process in Bayelsa, Imo and Kogi States.
Commandant Suleiman assured Bayelsa electorates to go about exercising their franchise without fear as the NSCDC in collaboration with sister agencies will make sure all mischief agents face the wrath of the law if apprehended.
The Delta State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has deployed over Two hundred (200) personnel, operational vehicles and other necessary resources ahead of the forthcoming gubernatorial elections in Bayelsa State.
