It was a commendation galore last Wednesday for Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, as Delta NSCDC Commandant, Suleiman Jimoh was presented with the Second Year Compendium Of Achievements of CG Audi in office.
Virtually all the Officers and men of the Delta State NSCDC reeled out details of positive numerous changes the Audi-led NSCDC has fixed since his emergence as the Helmsman of the Corps more than two years ago.
Speaking shortly after the presentation, Commandant Jimoh described CG Audi’s leadership of the NSCDC as very ”timely and divine” in all aspects of the Corps existence.
”His accomplishments within his first two years of NSCDC leadership has helped in no small measure to shore up public confidence and respect for officers and men of the Corps. His enhanced welfare package for the personnel has achieved for the Corps an impressive sustainable speedy and result-oriented productivity for the Corps personnel in the last two years of his leadership.
From what we could all see, Dr Audi’s over two years in office has brought about a paradigm shift across all the segments of the Corps, coupled with its accompanying innovative drive for enduring stability for the Corps, which include among others, establishment of Staff Command College, which has produced its first set of graduates. His concept of Safe School Security measure has been yielding positive results, while NSCDC Arms Training College would soon be commissioned.” Commandant Jimoh said.
