The Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Plateau State Command, Alexander Bissa Barunde, joined other heads of security agencies in Plateau State at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium in commemoration of Nigeria’s 63rd Independence Day to celebrate with the Governor, Barrister Caleb Muftwang, members of the state executive council and traditional rulers as well as the general public.
In his speech, Governor Mutfwang enjoined all Nigerians to be passionate about their country and keep high sprit with a view to building a strong and united one Nigeria; expressing optimism that Plateau State and Nigeria would rise again to their glory.
He however appreciated the efforts of all security operatives for relative peace the state has been enjoying.
