The Kogi State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC), Ahmad Ahmad Gandi, has called for continuous synergy among security agencies to put an end to insecurities in Nigeria.
Gandi made the call on Friday when the newly deployed Kogi State Immigration Service Controller, Anthony Anene, paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Lokoja.
The commandant stressed the need to create an encompassing forum for all the Security agencies in Kogi State where issues of Security, intelligence, and prompt dissemination of information will be addressed.
This, according to the NSCDC boss, will further put a check on crime and criminalities perpetrated in Kogi State.
Gandi recalled that NSCDC has continued to maintain a robust relationship with other sister security agencies, assuring the immigration boss that his command will assist him in achieving success in Kogi State.
“NSCDC and the Immigration Service are children from the same parentage; hence, we must collaborate and synergize to achieve the set goals of making Kogi State a crime free state,” he said.
