The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has said that is in high reconsideration for Cargo lifting from Plateau airport.
Ikechi Uko, the Aviation Cargo Roadmap Development Committee Coordinator, disclosed this on Friday at a fact-finding meeting.
He said Plateau State is strategically located for the viability of airport cargo business because of its agricultural potential.
Uko added that having active airport cargo in Plateau will help boost Nigeria’s export revenue.
“So if it is only this airport we can get to be active to begin to export, then Nigeria can do well”, he stated.
