SYNERGY, A PANACEA FOR OVERCOMING INSECURITY IN KOGI STATE, COMMANDANT AHMAD AHMAD GANDI

The State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Kogi State Command Lokoja, Ahmad Ahmad Gandi said synergy amongst Security agencies is an important mechanism in overcoming insecurity. The Commandant made this statement in his office while playing host to the newly deployed Navy Commodore UCV Ajulu Commander NNS LUGARD Kogi State Lokoja.

Speaking further the State Commandant highlighted on the Corps core mandates, which includes the Critical National Assets and Infrastructure, Agro Rangers, Female special squad, Anti vandalism, and PGC just to mention but few.

Commandant Ahmad Ahmad Gandi noted that the NSCDC Kogi State Command  had a wonderful working relationship with the out-gone Commander of NNS LUGARD, who he referred to as a good man.

The Commandant recalled how personnel of both agencies worked in synergy ie joint operations to overcome the menace of bunkering, vandalism, arresting of oil thieves and handing over to NSCDC for further prosecution, these he said was made possible because of the robust synergy enjoyed by both agencies, therefore opined for sustainability and hopefully be built upon, just as he commended the newly deployed Commodore UCV Ajulu Commander NNS LUGARD Kogi State for the visit.

Speaking earlier Commodore UCV Ajulu Commander NNS LUGARD Kogi State, appreciated the State Commandant Ahmad Ahmad Gandi for the warm reception accorded him and his entourage.

He said his predecessor told him of the wonderful working relationship he had with NSCDC during his time in Kogi State.

The newly deployed Commodore solicited for such working relationship as these he said will help in subduing the insecurity, threat to lives and properties in Kogi State generally.

Highlights of the visit was the presentation of plague by Commandant Ahmad Ahmad Gandi to the newly deployed Commodore UCV Ajulu Commander NNS LUGARD Kogi State.
