In view of the reality of the arrest and obvious prosecution of the erstwhile Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, family members, friends, hangers on and beneficiaries and security operatives may have dumped the former Helmsman of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
People’s Security Monitor’s visit to Emefiele’s Maiatama, Abuja home this afternoon revealed an empty house, contrary to what happened earlier in the year when a team of policemen was seen at his home. Also, his office was not spared as there were reports of operatives of the Department of State Services invasion of the CBN.
As at 2 pm this afternoon, Emefiele’s Abuja choice house was enveloped in a deafening silence as both human and vehicular movements were conspicuously absent in the compound.
At the CBN headquarters, our correspondents only observed the presence of the apex bank’s security men.
