Kaduna NSCDC Commandant, CC Idris Yahaya Adah,
The commandant of the Kaduna State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Idris Yahaya Adah, has ordered a 24-hour security patrol across the 23 local government areas of Kaduna to ensure the safety of the lives and property of residents of the state.
This was contained in a statement by DSC Habeeb Badamasi, the command’s public relations officer, and made available to newsmen on Monday.
Recalled that Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani, in his maiden security council meeting with heads of security agencies in the state reiterated that safety and security of lives and property is a major plank of his administration’s seven-point agenda
Commandant Adah, who had earlier created additional area commands, divisional offices, and outposts across the 23 local government areas of the state, further noted that trained and armed personnel were deployed to various offices and strategic places to forestall breakdowns of laws and order and to arrest any suspected criminal.
Adah, who stressed that NSCDC will not spare any criminal in the state, assured Kaduna residents of their safety, saying they can now go to bed with their two eyes closed as vigilant personnel are working hard to ensure their safety.
He advised the public to always report criminal elements, and strange faces in their surroundings, adding: “These criminals are living within the communities, committing all manners of crime, and until these criminal elements are exposed, identified, and arrested, they will continue to terrorise them.”
