Nasarawa Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has arrested five suspects for engaging in homosexuality, in Doma and Lafia Local government areas of the of the state.
The criminal offence allegedly committed in Doma and Lafia local governments areas of the state had led to the arrest of Mohammed Mutawakil Allu Patrick; Muhammed Zanwa; Ali Abubakar Abati and Shuaibu Yusuf all of whom were apprehended at different times and locations within Doma and Lafia Local government area of the state.
Upon interrogation they all admitted to have been indulging in this dastardly act for some years now and pleaded for mercy.
While parading the suspects at the Command Headquarters in Lafia the state capital recently, the State Commandant Abbas Bappa Muhammed who spoke through the Public Relations Officer DSC Jerry Victor, frowned at this unfortunate and unholy act.
He advised on all parents and guardians to monitor the movement of their children and ward especially at all times, while assuring that the five suspects would soon be arraigned in court for prosecution.
