Fraud: Vigilante Group of Nigeria Calls For Arrest Of Suspended Member Allegedly Involved in Extortion and Illegal Recruitment

The Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN) has petitioned the Department of
State Service (DSS) demanding the arrest of one Usman Nohammed Jahun,
a suspended member of the group, whom it accused of perpetrating
illegal recruitment exercise with the intention of swindling
unsuspecting members of the public.

According to the contents of the petition signed by the National
Chairman and Commander General of the group, Navy Captain Umar Bakori
(rtd) which was made available to media outlets this morning.

‘’The attention of the National Executive Council of Vigilante Group
of Nigeria (VGN) has been drawn to the fact that one Usman Mohammed
Jahun, a suspended member of our organization has been screening
unsuspecting members of the public illegally and extorting money from
them with an assurance that the VGN bill currently awaiting the assent
of President Nhammadu Buhari would be signed into law by the President
before leaving the office.

Kindly use your good office to investigate and arrest the said Usman
Mohammed Jahun before damaging the good reputation of VGN with his
extortion of money from unemployed people.

cronies have been sending around.’’
