Zamfara State command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, has reunited a 12-year-old boy, Musaddiku Muhammad abandoned in Bauchi State with his biological parents at Magazu village, in Tsafe Local Government Area of the State.
This was contained in a press statement issued by the Corps Public Relations Officer, Ikor Oche, saying that this was done through the village head, Ibrahim Maiwada.
According to the State Commandant of the Corps, Muhammad Bello Muazu, the child was discovered in a garage by the operatives of the Corps at Bauchi State while on routine patrol.
The statement further noted that the child was seen crying and feeling uncomfortable before he was accosted by the personnel.
“Preliminary investigations revealed that the said boy, Musaddiku Muhammad hails from Magazu village of Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State,” he said.
Muazu, however, advised members of the public to be meticulous and careful of the kind of places they take their wards to for studies.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim Maiwada, the Hakimi of Magazu village expressed joy over the reunion of the child with his parents, pointing out that he will do all he can within his powers to forestall any future occurrence.
