FUTURE OF NIGERIAN WOMEN WLL BE SECURED UNDER TINUBU ADMINISTRATION, HE DESRVES OUT VOTES SAYS GRACIOUS WOMEN AND YOUTHS’ EMPOWERMENT CENTRE (GYEC)

As political parties intensify efforts to woo the electorate in the forthcoming general elections, one of the Nigeria’s leading NGOs – The Gracious Women and Youths Empowerment Centre, has declared its support for the APC presidential candidate, Senetor Bola Ahmed Tinubu whom it describes as the vanguard of women empowerment and hope of the Nigerian youths.

The NGO said the APC flag bearer apart from other cogent reasons remains the only presidential candidate with lofty economic empowerment and sustainable programmes for Nigerian women and youths, if elected as Nigeria’s president next week.

According to a statement jointly signed by Hajiya Halima Hamza and Isiaka Mustapha, Director General and National Publicity Secretary of the the NGO respectively in Abuja yesterday, “We’re totally confident that Bola Tinubu Presidency is the best suited to advance the fortunes of women in Nigeria. He would ensure the effective participation of women in commanding heights of the national economy, agriculture, manufacturing, hi-tech and commerce.

“He has done it in Lagos and will do it better at the national level. Tinubu Presidency will make Nigeria secure again her virtuues of liberality and gender equation.

“He will give attention to the ordinary women in our communities through the promotion of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as well other funding opportunities for women’s Organizations in the country. 

He will implement innovative and impactful safety-net programmes. And no doubt about his determination to make Nigerian women the drivers of our agricultural production”.

‘’The growth of our economy and achievement of our nation and destiny just as Senator Tinubu rightly affirmed rests on equity and the safeguarding of the fundamental rights and decency in our society irrespective of gender, thus ending all forms of divisive biases, including gender discrimination.’’

”We are extremely optimistic that women will be adequately represented in Tinubu’s government appointments for optimal performance, and this explains why we urge all Nigerian women irrespective of tribe and religion to identify with Tinubu presidential ambition and ensure its victory in next week presidential election.”
