Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Gombe State Command, yesterday, paraded eleven teenage suspects for homosexual activities.
The children, between the ages of nine and sixteen were arrested at Liiji area of Yemaltu-Deba local government.
According to the Commandant, Waziri Goni, 40-year-old Usman Muhammed pay the teenagers N500 for illicit sexual affair.
Muhammed, father of three was arrested last Saturday when he engaged 13-year Abdulkarim Abubakar in the act in uncompleted building.
“People caught him making love with this 13-year-old boy in an uncompleted building. They seized him and it was while they were beating him that our men rescued him from the mob,” Goni told newsmen.
Also paraded was a 28-year-headmaster of a private school in Tabra area of Akko local government for raping a nine-year old pupil.
The Commandant explained that the pupil was waiting for the commercial motorcyclist engaged by her parents to come when the accused took advantage of the situation to lure her into a classroom and defiled her.
Goni recalled: “investigation revealed that the motorcyclist did not come on time after the close of school, it was in the process that the accused took the innocent girl to an empty classroom and had it with her.”
He added that it was when the girl got home and couldn’t pee well that her mother raised the alarm that eventually led her to the NSCDC.
He said the girl who sustained injuries was immediately rushed to the hospital.
Also, another 17-year-old Mohammad Musa, accused of raping a two-year old and another four-year-old girl was paraded.
According to Goni, Musa who always threatened to kill the children, after the act, raped his niece while taking her home from school.
The Commandant, however pleaded with parents and guardians to take extra care of their wards, saying: “parents should always take good care of their wards; it is mandatory,” adding that the Command had counseled the eleven homosexuals.
