It was a water-tight security yesterday at the Rigasa train station in Kaduna as armed security operatives were spotted taking positions at strategic places within the confines and jurisdiction of the train station.
Similarly, a reasonable number of armed security personnel ranging from the mobile policemen to officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps were equally seen taking charge inside virtually all the coaches of the train.
Independent investigations by People’s Security Monitor showed a valid synergy among all the security operatives at both Abuja end of Idu Abuja and Rigasa Kaduna train stations and within the Kaduna metropolis.
Passengers who spoke to People’s Security Monitor expressed joy that things are getting back to normalcy, while commending the government for improving the security situation at both Abuja and Kaduna sides of the train stations.
