NSCDC Arrests Vandals In Kano

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kano State Command, has confirmed the arrest of a 23-year-old man, Inuwa Sani, over alleged vandalism in the Kano Municipal Local Government Area of the state.

The Public Relations Officer, NSCDC Kano Command, Idris Abdullahi, confirmed the arrest in a statement on Thursday.

According to the statement, the suspect was apprehended while cutting and vandalising an armoured cable and aluminium ratline conductor cable at a building along Bompai road in Nassarawa LGA of the state.

“The suspect was arrested while cutting and vandalising an armoured cable, 21 meters in size, and a 33 meters aluminium ratline cable in a building located along Bompai road, Nassarawa local government area.

“He was apprehended while committing the nefarious act by the security guards working at the premises,” Abdullahi said.

He said investigation into the case had been concluded, adding that the suspect would soon be arraigned before a court.
