The Nigeria Safety and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) says inter-agency collaboration on election safety stays very sturdy forward of the 2023 normal elections.

The Corps Director of Public Relations, Mr Olusola Odumosu gave the reassurance whereas reacting to considerations raised by INEC on Thursday that insecurity could have an effect on the 2023 elections.

He stated that the Corps, being a member of the Inter-Company Consultative Committee on Elections Safety, would guarantee the security of residents and that of Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC) officers and supplies.
