FG’S DECISION TO DISOWN NATIONAL AWARD LIST, A FACE-SAVING, DAMAGE CONTROL MEASURES SAYS BARRISTER FRANK TIETIE, ARISE TELEVISION PUBLIC AFFAIRS ANALYST

Arise Television Public Affairs Commentator, Barrister Frank TieTie has this afternoon described the Federal Government’s decision to disown the list of 2022 national awards nominees circulating in the media as a face-saving and damage control measures, having realized the enormity of the blunder it had committed by omitting certain qualified names from the list, which of course had received huge criticism from Nigerians.

Specifically, Barrister TieTie could not comprehend reasons why former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki’s name could not make the list against the tradition of Nigeria’s national honour procedure, while that of Femi Adesina, the President Muhammadu Buhari’s Spokesperson, who, according to him has been busy insulting Nigerians almost on a daily basis in the course of his official duties features prominently on the list.
